When you think about durability, you really don’t think about bed sheets and what that means. However, you should think about it because durability is something that matters a lot. If your sheets won’t last, and they are pretty expensive, why buy them?

This is especially true with luxury bedding like silk. There is a weight for silk sheets and a weave both have their own strength factors. For example, the habotai weave is very weak and you should use charmeuse.

But when you look at the different weights, there is a difference but it’s not huge to make a huge difference in strength. When you have a higher weight, you have a stronger sheet on a technical basis. But that net gain of strength is something that is not really a huge gain, at least that you will ever notice.
