With the introduction of solid core vinyl siding, a homeowner could now have siding that was more durable and even resembled wood or other materials. This was something that homeowners had been waiting for, since older types of siding were obviously nothing else other than vinyl siding which wasn’t always what a homeowner wanted.

With solid core vinyl siding, a homeowner could have all the benefits of vinyl siding, but could also have their homes express a unique look. In my neighbor’s case, they opted for a look that resembled brick. This gave their home a different look while affording them the benefits of a vinyl siding exterior. The cost was a lot lower than brick, too.
