Recently I ordered and installed a few storm windows. The reason I bought them is I had some very old single pane windows and they were really inefficient. They permitted wind and dust particles in the house and they simply were not doing their job. I decided on storm windows because I desired an affordable choice which I could install on my own. What a fantastic decision, they look terrific, they were an excellent price for custom storm windows and the house is much more efficient now. I am so pleased about my investment. If you have a similar situation with old single pane windows like me, get a storm window.
